Across the Desert
In your dark, comes the One
For ages fallen
In your dark he waits
And dreams forever…
From the Void
From the Other Side comes the One
Born of Hate
Fed from the blood of the Sun
Awakened, a Demon of old
(rising from the flames like a vision of a fallen god)
Through fire and ashes, breathing…
Condemned in the torture of flesh
(condemned in flesh)
And kingdoms will vanish bleeding
Servant of Shadows
The Man in Black, the Night
Serpent of Chaos
The poisoned seed of doubt
Dignify the traitor and embrace the nightmare
The Darkness flows from the Other Side
The altars of fire cast a light infernal
He comes in to life…
Awakening
Through the dark, guide my hand
For retribution
Where hope still sings
And dreams forever…
From the fall
From the Other Side comes the One
Born of Hope
Fed from grief and the falcon’s blood
Awakened, a Wanderer of Worlds
(rising from the flames like a vision of a fallen god)
Through fire and ashes, screaming…
Condemned in the torture of life
(condemned in flesh)
The Tower is red and bleeding

My favorite band from 2004-2006, back from the grave and better than ever. A masterpiece of dark prog-metal and (hopefully) a harbinger of great things to come. gebs

It reminds me of *good* Blind Guardian, which is one of my favorite bands (up to 2002) , so that alone would be enough. However, it would sell the band short to describe them just as "a band that sounds like BG". The album has some genuinely brilliant moments and the last song on the album, the s/t one, is one of my favorite songs of the past years, absolutely fantastic. dungeonvic
