Throne of Martyrdom
Gather now your tears
Embrace the one true god
Fear now his will
His overwhelming love
I am the Snake
I am the Sword
I am the Plague
I am your world
I speak His Word
I cleaned His wounds
I crucified Him
(Crucify Him)
Crucify Him
Hammer the nails
(Make Him Martyr)
Crucify the carpenter and reign in his Name
Hell or Heaven
The final call in my hands
My kingdom
Mine is your soul to burn
I am the Snake
I am the Sword
I am the Plague
I am your world
I speak His Word
I cleaned His wounds
I crucified Him
(Crucify Him)
Crucify Him
Hammer the nails
(Feast on betrayal)
Mark his words upon golden thrones
I bid you, stand
Even though there is no hope
Even though all there’s is death
Be my slave, promised my afterlife
Hear my words, lies and deceit
My pure soul is darker than your fears
You need to fall
That’s what He speaks
My black soul is darker than your fears
I bid you, fall
Your God does command
I bring you War
Eternal Holy War
Judgement and Fear
That’s what he speaks
Listen and Obey
I am the Spear
The mouth of War and Fear
The holy sword
Placed in your grasp
I speak his will
I am the truth revealed
Your god on Earth
Your cross to bear
I am your god of torture and fire
I am the darkness that clouds your dreams
Cover your eyes and hear the emptiness
Cover your ears and see what’s beyond
The Light of the World is cast by a fire
The Funeral Pyre of the Olden gods
We sow the seeds of hate
We reap the harvest of your fate
In dark times and in plaque
Divine we remain

My favorite band from 2004-2006, back from the grave and better than ever. A masterpiece of dark prog-metal and (hopefully) a harbinger of great things to come. gebs

It reminds me of *good* Blind Guardian, which is one of my favorite bands (up to 2002) , so that alone would be enough. However, it would sell the band short to describe them just as "a band that sounds like BG". The album has some genuinely brilliant moments and the last song on the album, the s/t one, is one of my favorite songs of the past years, absolutely fantastic. dungeonvic

High quality progressive metal. If you have any interest at all in progressive, you owe it to yourself to check this album out, it's super catchy and delivers every you want from the genre. The_Bob_Comics
